  1. Very good Helen, excellent handling of the evolving relationship. You continue to lead me along by the nose. :)

  3. I just found this story this weekend and I'm all caught up now. Please ma'am, could I have some more? What I am trying to say is I Love it! The characters are well rounded, you have some nice suspense going with Mr. Meticulous, you have a bad guy who is a good guy (and maybe a good guy who is a bad guy, eh?), and I love the play between Gabriel and Michael. It isn't often that paternal jealousy can be shown in such a stark manner. I love the explanation of the American accent as well, sounds to me as though he learned english from someone who died in the Revolutionary war. ;) There are some mistakes throughout but I am assuming this is a rough draft, I am sure that if you were to go back and read from the beginning you would find them.
Can't wait to read some more! Amy

  4. Hi Amy! Thank you so much for your comments. I’m thrilled you’re enjoying Gehenna and stopped to post. I’m currently wrestling with chapter fourteen. Unfortunately it’s fighting back and refusing to be easy to write :)

You’re spot on with your guess on the background of Michael’s English teacher. I’m glad it tickled you!

Ack! Errors! This is a polished first draft. I always try to make each new chapter error-free but they still sneak in. I’m sure you’re right then when this is finished, I’ll go back and reread and WINCE! :P

In the meantime, please feel free to point out anything that really sticks out and pulls you out of the story.

Thank you so much again, and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

    God bless, Helen
